At Critical Software, project managers don't just track timelines: they carry the weight of decisions that matter. You'll own the full delivery lifecycle of complex, international projects in industries where failure is not an option.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Provide strong leadership, guiding cross-functional and multicultural teams with confidence and clarity.
- Contribute to a vision-driven environment, demonstrating ambition and a desire to drive meaningful, positive change.
- Lead end-to-end project delivery, ensuring effective management of scope, timelines, budget, quality, risks, and stakeholder expectations.
- Manage international projects, ensuring alignment across regions and stakeholders.
- Make informed and timely decisions, enabling smooth project progress and issue resolution.
- Ensure 360° communication, maintaining clear, consistent, and assertive communication with clients, teams, and senior management.
- Deliver according to various project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
- Mentor and support large project teams, fostering professional growth and promoting a culture of excellence.
- Maintain a proactive, energetic approach, always moving towards solutions.
- Support Business Development (BizDev) activities when needed, including upselling opportunities and maintaining strong client relationships.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Must have:
- 7+ years managing complex projects (5 minimum)
- Experience in Railway, Aerospace, or Defence
- Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities, with a genuine commitment to the growth of the people you lead
- Excellent communication: clear, structured, and assertive
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving mindset
- Experience working with multiple project methodologies
- Demonstrated experience managing international projects
- Commitment to continuous learning and knowledge sharing
- Fluent English (C1/C2)
Nice to have:
- Actively uses AI tools in day-to-day work: from decision-making to project management
- Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
- Background in software development
- Worldwide work experience
- French and/or German)
