We’re seeking to expand our footprint in the DACH region, and we’re hiring a Pre-sales & Partnerships Engineer (m/f/d) to join our Digital Engineering Services business unit.

This division is specialized in Banking, Financial Services & Insurance, and has strong delivery capabilities and experience in other sectors as Manufacturing & Telecom.

In this role, you will be focused on the Banking, Financial services & Insurance industry, working closely with our first-class sales & software engineering teams, partners and customers.

We deliver compelling and highly valuable business critical & digital transformation propositions, focused on transforming traditional sectors, enabling better efficiency, quality and delivering business critical functions.

What will be your task!

  • Within the Banking, Financial Services & Insurance industries, shape our offer positioning, meeting customers, understanding their needs and how we can tackle these, generating new business opportunities, and establish trusted relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Staying up-to-date with the industry specifics, by attending to industry events, understanding and anticipating market trends, and leveraging social media (e.g. LinkedIn).
  • Creating content for our offer (E.g. technical articles, technical notes, opinion making), building on client project use cases.
  • Build project delivery calendars & estimations, involving the right technical & functional stakeholders, creating, challenging and improving envisioned technical solutions/architectures, building on historical knowledge.
  • Managing and writing compelling attractive proposals that will hit the mark with our customers and enable the deals closure.
  • Managing key targeted lead generation campaigns together with Business Development, and Marketing teams.
  • Autonomously manage your tasks, always with the support of your team and manager.
  • Think strategically and tactically.
  • Identify and develop strategic alliances to complement our offering, enhancing differentiation, time-to-market and value creation.

What do we expect from you?

  • You have had contact and experience on Banking, Financial services and/or Insurance companies/markets and, or any other highly digitaly oriented market.
  • You have solid technical experience, and are able to convey lknowledge and trust to customers and prospects, namely around the architecture & development of bespoke solutions and/or delivering digital transformation projects to customers within the industry.
  • You have an understanding or are interested in Software Engineering challenges & projects.
  • You have a consultative style with good negotiation skills that enable you to develop meaningful relationships.
  • You have excellent written and spoken English and German skills, with the ability to clearly understand, formulate and present functional/technical requirements.
  • You love to communicate, establish great relationships and are always up for a good challenge.
  • You can occasionally travel within and outside the EU.
